Swamp Outlaw 1984 Honda ATC Big Red 200ES Custom 4.5" Complete Lift Kit
Swamp Outlaw Lifts
1984 Honda Big Red 200ES
Thank you for choosing Swamp Outlaw to lift your Big Red.
Please read the following information carefully before ordering.
The 1984 shaft‑drive model is slightly more complex than our lifts designed for chain‑drive machines.
Front Suspension:
The factory front suspension on the 200E and 200ES is non‑rebuildable and is commonly worn out. The most popular solution is swapping to a 200S front end or sleeving and welding the forks in place. Swamp Outlaw offers a tube sleeve kit designed specifically for welding the front forks solid.
Rear Lift:
The rear lift requires installing a new driveshaft and tube from a 1984 Honda 200SX four‑wheeler. OEM Honda part numbers are 40520‑VM5‑000 and 40250‑VM5‑000. These parts are generally easy to source used on eBay. Due to the increased drivetrain angle created by the lift, minor grinding is required for U‑joint clearance. The remainder of the rear lift is bolt‑on and includes all required hardware.
Wheels and Tires:
Wheels and tires are typically the most expensive portion of any lifted build. We recommend using a 5+2 offset wheel, as it is the most common option for aftermarket rims. This offset properly centers the front when used with our wheel adapters that convert the 4x150 bolt pattern to 4x110 (Honda), 4x137 (Can‑Am), or 4x156 (Polaris). See our other listings to order the appropriate front adapter. For the rear, simply order 400EX ATV rear hubs, which directly replace the stock ATC hubs. OEM Honda part number 42410‑HCO‑000.
